Colourcem

Colorcem is a milled blend of white or grey Portland cement and selected compatible pigments. Strengths are similar to those of Portland cement, but if dark shades are required, up to 10% more Colorcem should be usedfor a given strength.

To achieve integrally coloured concrete, plaster, mortar or pre-cast concrete. Care should be taken in the choiceof aggregates, shuttering and general continuity of work. Tests should be done to ensure desired results. Contact our Technical Department for further information.

Concrete blocks, concrete interlocking paving stones, paving slabs, terrazzo, coloured plaster, coloured mortar,pointing mortars. Colorcem is also combined with Base Coat to create Satincrete.

Concrete and coloured plasters are susceptible to uneven colour unless precautions, such as insulating linersin the shuttering or waterproof scratch-coats for plaster, are taken. The colour of the sand will also influence thecolour of the plaster or concrete. Colorcem is a quality product, but its proper use involves care and dedication on-site or in the precast factory.
