Description A clear, spray-applied liquid which is absorbed into the pores of the PoolCrete surface and reacts chemically with the calcium salts causing hardening and sealing of the surface.
Purpose For improving the hardness and chemical resistance of the plaster surface. Also considerably reduces the release of “free lime” which is the white milky deposit often found on the floor of the pool soon after filling the pool.
Types One type only.
Colours Available in clear liquid only.
Applications Suitable for the surface application of PoolCrete just prior to filling with water for the first time. Specifying “Apply by spray, one soaking coat of Cemcrete Pool Plaster Hardener as supplied, to the plaster surface just prior to filling the swimming pool with water. All in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.”

Site Work Storage Store unopened containers for a maximum of 6 months.
Weather If rain is imminent, application of the Pool Plaster Hardener will reduce staining and other damage.
Surface preparation Fill cracks, if any, in the normal way. The drier the surface, the better the penetration and the deeper the chemical reaction.
Mixing Shake container thoroughly before use.
Application Apply by ordinary garden spray starting in extreme deepend and working out and up away from sprayed area. Under no circumstance should rivulets of the material be allowed to run over any untreated areas. This will prevent streakiness.
Coverage Depending on suction, approximately 7m2/litre. Usually 10 to 15 litres per 9 x 4.5m pool.
Packaging Supplied in 25 litre non-returnable plastic drums.
