Description
A grey cement-based top quality tile adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles and mosaics. It is supplied in powder form for mixing with clean water on site.
Purpose
To provide an easy to use bedding for wall and floor tiles with controlled setting time, good water retention and excellent adhesion.
Types
One type only, used for walls and floors.
Applications
For fixing ceramic tiles or mosaics to floor and wall surfaces.
Colours
Available in standard grey and white.
Specifying
"Cemcrete Tile Adhesive to be used for all tile fixing in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions."

Storage
Unopened bags can be stored on slats in a dry shed for 4 months.

Suitable surfaces
Concrete, cement plaster, stone, bricks and blocks. Where adhesion is required to glazed tiles or firm oil paint, CemBond should be used in conjunction with Cemcrete Tile Adhesive. Please contact our Technical Department.
Surface preparation
Surfaces should be hard, clean, free from grease or oil and dry at the time of tiling. Very absorbent surfaces, particularly in hot, dry conditions, can be damped down.
Mixing
To 1 volume water mix in approximately 3 volumes Tile Adhesive to obtain a thick paste. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before applying.
Application
Assuming the wall surface is true, apply the Tile Adhesive paste with a 6mm x 6mm notched trowel. Use all mixed material within 3 hours. Depending on surface absorption and weather, do not spread Tile Adhesive more than 2 to 3m2 ahead of application of tiles.
Coverage
Varies considerably depending upon method of application. On true surfaces where a 6mm x 6mm
notched trowel has been used, approximately 7 to 8m2 per 20kg bag.
