This one is a first for us. Apex Swing Academy in Cascais marks Cemcrete's first featured project in Portugal, and it is a fitting introduction to a new market, a space that takes something as traditional as the game of golf and reimagines it entirely.

Founded by PGA Professional Artur Pereira and located in Alcabideche just outside Cascais on the Estoril Coast, Apex Swing Academy is the region's first high-tech indoor golf centre. Across five TrackMan simulators, three hydraulic putting lanes and a Callaway fitting centre, the facility brings data-driven coaching and precision technology together under one roof. It is a serious place for serious golfers, but one designed to feel anything but sterile.

That balance between performance and atmosphere is where CreteCote Microcement in Dusk earns its place. Applied across the floors throughout the space and along the bar counter, Dusk brings a warmth and depth to the interior that keeps the focus on the experience rather than the finish itself. It is a tone that sits comfortably in the neutral spectrum, rich enough to feel deliberate, understated enough to let everything else breathe. |
Along the bar counter, where Michelin-star chefs prepare handcrafted dishes and a curated selection of wines and spirits awaits after a session on the simulators, the microcement surface is particularly well chosen. Smooth, seamless and easy to maintain, it holds its own as a functional surface while contributing quietly to the premium character of the space.
