What do you need?
The System
Q: Can my plasterer do the application?
A: If your plasterer has experience working with Cemcrete products and you feel confident in using them to do the application, then yes. Your plasterer can also attend our demo days hosted at our Academy in Johannesburg. Please note attending these demo days does not mean your plasterer will be an experienced Cemcrete contractor. For more details of Cemcrete’s demo days click here, or independent contractor details, click here.
Q: Can I use CemPlaster to coat my firepit seating area?
A: Yes, because it is durable enough for exterior weather conditions and can be easily applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Q: Do you have to seal a CemPlaster wall?
A: We recommend the sealing of our wall products if they are used exteriorly or will come into contact with water. Cement by nature is porous and applying a sealer ensures easy maintenance and protects against dirt & stains. Should you like your cement walls to age and mature over time, then not using a sealer could be an option for you.
