WHAT IS CEMWASH?
A two-coat decorative, coloured, weatherproof cement finish; supplied as CemWash first coat grey and CemWash top coat in the colour of your choice. Having a base of Portland cement, it sets rock-hard, is UV resistant, economical and extremely durable. The purpose is to provide a tough, weatherproof, durable cement-based coating directly to brick, block or hard cured plaster walls.

Q: Is it necessary to apply the first coat grey?
A: Yes it is, applying the first coat grey ensures a good adhesion to your wall.
Q: Can my painter do the application?
A: If your painter has experience working with Cemcrete products and you feel confident in using them to do the application, then yes. Your painter can also attend our demo days hosted at our Academy in Johannesburg. Please note attending these demonstration days does not mean your painter will be an experienced Cemcrete contractor. For more details of Cemcrete’s demonstration days or independent contractor details visit our contact us page.
Q: Do you have to seal a CemWash wall?
A: The use of a sealer is highly recommended.
