Q: Do you need to seal your RenoCrete Counter surface?
A: We recommend the sealing of our products if they are used exteriorly or will come into contact with water or other liquids (coffee, tea, wine ect). Cement by nature is porous and applying a sealer ensures easy maintenance and protects against dirt & stains. Should you like your cement walls to age and mature over time, then not using a sealer could be an option for you.
Q: What are the maintenance on a countertop coated with RenoCrete?
A: Special care should be taken to protect your countertop. Make sure a good high quality sealer is used, remove spills immediately and refrain form using harsh chemicals (no ammonia based product) to clean the surface.
